House of Stone Charitable Organization

In November 2007, OneCal invited House of Stone to display sculpture in the bank
to help their mission of raising money for Zimbabwean children orphaned by AIDS.
In Zimbabwe, over one million AIDS orphans exist in a population of only 13 million
people. The exhibit was timed to coincide with World AIDS Awareness Week and
World AIDS Day.

House of Stone purchases stone sculpture at fair-market prices from Zimbabwean
sculptors, ships the sculpture to the United States for sale and distributes the proceeds
to community-initiated and community-supported programs in Zimbabwe that address
this pediatric crisis.

The exhibition brings together people interested in the arts, economic development,
children, health and other local community concerns, in an effort to share ideas about
community development.
